Art by Jeannette was founded during a difficult time of loss and heartbreak. After the passing of her father, Jeannette discovered the versatility and beauty of resin while preserving the flowers from his funeral.
However, the grief of losing her father in December 2022 also brought back unresolved past trauma from the previous year, when her husband nearly died in 2021.
Jeannette used her art as a way to heal and find solace in God’s presence. Although the creative process can be messy, she found that the end result often turned into something even more beautiful than what she had initially intended.
Through her work, Jeannette hopes to inspire others to find beauty in the midst of life’s messiness and difficulties. As she creates each piece, she is reminded of how Jesus can transform us into a masterpiece, even in the most challenging of circumstances.
