Hey friend,
I don’t know your story.
I don’t know what brought you here, what you’ve lost, what you’re carrying, or what you’re still trying to hold together.
But I do know this: you didn’t get here without walking through something hard.
Maybe you’re in the thick of it right now, barely breathing, barely functioning, or functioning on autopilot.
Or maybe you’ve made it to the other side, sort of, but your body, your mind… they’re all still stuck somewhere back in the storm.
If that’s you, I want to say something that might be hard to believe:
I’m proud of you.
Not because you’re perfect. Not because you’re handling this like some kind of super-Christian.
But because you’re still here, still trying, still pressing on, still holding on to faith, even if it’s hanging by a thread.
I don’t know what you’ve lost, or what the damage looks like.
I don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve felt like yourself, or if you even remember who that person was.
But I do know what it feels like to be in survival mode.
I know what it feels like to long for normalcy.
To trust in God and question His plan.
And if no one’s told you this lately, there is grace for all of it.
Healing will come, friend. But it doesn’t come on a timeline.
And while you’d like to speed things up, you don’t have to rush past your pain to prove you’re faithful.
There Is No Walking Through Suffering Perfectly
So today, can I gently remind you:
You don’t have to be “strong” all the time.
You don’t have to pretend this doesn’t hurt.
There is no doing this perfectly.
Even Jesus, overwhelmed with sorrow, asked for another way.
What you’re carrying is real.
And so is the God who carries you.
He is above it all.
He is in control of it all.
He has defeated it all.
And He will make a way through it all.
This road may be long, but it is sacred. It’s transformational.
And you do not walk it alone.
So take a deep breath.
Healing starts right here – with honesty, with grace, and with one tiny step forward.
And I’ll be right here, walking with you.

But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9
