When your knees feel weak. When your body trembles

When your knees feel weak. When your body trembles. When your hands shake as they’re raised to the Heavens. When you’re sobbing in the closet afraid of how it will all work out, asking God to fix it —that’s still faith.

Sometimes we convince ourselves that we have to be strong and hold it all together and if we don’t that somehow diminishes our faith.

But scripture tells us, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden,” not “Come to me when you’ve got it all together, quoting scripture, never anxious, and you look like you’re being really strong.”

Sometimes the realest picture of faith is when we are spent and have nothing left and we bring it all to Him because we know He’s the only one that can do anything about it.

God doesn’t shame you when your faith doesn’t ‘look’ strong.
Besides, He doesn’t require your strength.
But He offers His. 🫶

I share and will keep sharing because I know what

I share and will keep sharing because I know what it’s like to be in the middle of it and have your feet knocked out from under you.

I know what it’s like when the waves keep coming before you’ve finished recovering from the last one. When you’ve witnessed God move and then find yourself back in the storm. When your body, your grief, and your circumstances all hit at once and you can barely breathe.

I talk about suffering because there are others walking through something right now that feels too heavy to carry and too hard to explain. And I want them to know they are not alone in it.

But more than anything — I talk about suffering because while it’s not easy, there is something so beautiful and so profound about encountering God in the middle of it— and coming out the other side with a faith that has been tested and is still standing.

He is there in every single wave. He was with me and He will be with you. He will not let you drown.

I am still standing. Not because the storms stopped. But because of Who was in the boat with me.

If you’re in a storm right now, riding the wave, He is there too.

It is fragile in appearance, yet resilient in the harshest weather. It bends, but does not break. It stays rooted, even when the wind beats against it.

And when the storm blows hardest – its seeds are carried farther than they ever could have gone on a calm day.

Your story is the same.

The hard seasons, the loss, the moments you weren’t sure you would make it – they are not wasted.

You are still standing. And what you’ve been through is not the end of your story – it’s the very thing God is using to reach someone else.

The winds that rise against us, do not defeat us – they carry our testimonies farther.

We say, “Your will be done,” but inside we’re wondering what that will require.

Will it mean waiting longer Letting go of something we love? Walking through something we never would have chosen?

There were seasons in my life when surrender felt terrifying. “Your will be done” did not easily roll off my tongue because I knew His will carried the possibility of losing my husband…and later, my father.

Surrender isn’t always easy—even when we’re walking with God.

Real surrender isn’t the absence of fear. It’s trusting Him anyway.

And this is what I’ve learned: His will may stretch you, but it will never abandon you.

If you’re learning to trust God in uncertainty, you’re not alone here.

Not in comfort.
Not in abundance.
But in places stripped of distraction.

If you’ve ever questioned, “Is my faith just not strong enough?” you’re in good company. 🙋‍♀️

Doubt can seep in during suffering and make us wonder if we’re somehow failing at faith. It’s a lie the enemy loves to use—turning pain into shame and convincing us we should be doing better by now.

But Jesus meets us with compassion. He doesn’t shame us. Instead, He invites the weary and heavy-laden to come and offers rest. (Matthew 11:28)

Don’t believe the enemy’s lies. Give yourself some grace, what you’re walking through is hard. But take heart, God is walking it with you.

🌸You may not feel brave. You may feel tired in eve

🌸You may not feel brave. You may feel tired in every way a person can be tired. Still, you are here. Still, you are walking forward.

Maybe you’re holding tightly to Jesus. Maybe your faith feels like it’s hanging on by a thread. Either way, you have not stopped showing up.

I know what it’s like to walk a valley that doesn’t seem to end—when your heart, mind, and body have nothing left and nothing seems to change.

So be gentle with yourself. There is no perfect way to walk through suffering. There was only One who was perfect, and even He asked if there might be another way.

Rest when you need to. Hold on to what is true: you are not alone, even when it feels that way. You are not without hope, even when it feels hopeless. He is working all things out, even though you can’t see it yet.

🌸Keep going and keep your eyes on Him!
